Hi Matt, 8 cards are on the way to you from West Sussex, England. They were made by my 6 year old Granddaughter Mia and myself. I hope they arrive safely. I saw your story on a blog I follow and after showing it to Mia, we decided to make some cards for you. You are an amazing little boy and I know you will grow into a wonderful man. I would love to have my class do cards! However, we do not start until Sept. 4th. Will you do another drop off after that date? If not I may just have my own two children make them but I sure would love to give you a whole class worth of cards or even school!

Cards went in the mail today; in honor of Matthew and my best friend’s birthday. You inspired me to make some for the rehabilitation center my mother was just released from. Thanks for the inspiration Mattie!

This is such a wonderful idea, more families need to share this lesson of selflessness with their children!!! We take too many things for granted. This is a wonderful lesson for young children!!!I will be sending cards out tomorrow! Thank you!!!

Matthew, I would love to help you. My mother retired from the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, La after working for them for 25 years. My youngest son was also seen by them because he had collasping ankles when he was small. You sure are an inspiration to everyone and yes, I cried as I read your sweet letter. I’m leaving tomorrow for a few days but as soon as I get back I will make cards and send them your way. Have a great school year and thank you for doing this for other children who are in the same spot you were in not long ago. HUGS
