anniversary announcement

Hello everyone!

Since Matthew came up with his amazing idea, we’ve been BUSY.  We started calling the card drive for Shriners Hospital, The Selflessness Project and it quickly took on a life of it’s own.  In less than 2 weeks Matt’s blog post has brought in roughly 4000 views, which may not be a lot to some but was incredible to us.  Who knew?  I honestly thought we’d get our friends & family, and a few awesome crafters involved and that would be it.  None of us could have anticipated that we would be getting cards from all over the United States (and beyond!) or that our story would be shared so many times in so many ways.  We keep having to find bigger boxes to hold all the cards and we are unbelievably excited to deliver all them all!  Thank you.

Now that The Selflessness Project is well on its way (you can check out the facebook page here), I’ve had some time to settle back into the joy that is This Heartmade Life and catch up on some projects, orders, and………..next week’s GIVEAWAY!  Next week marks the one year anniversary since I started this blogging adventure and dove into sharing and selling my designs and projects.  I feel so grateful for all the encouragement and friendship I’ve been given over the past year and I wanted to share with you some of my favorite things from some of my absolute favorite companies!  This is going to be super fun.  :)
