Anniversary Celebration – Day 4

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!

Can I say how happy I am that so many great people are enjoying this week’s celebration and how sad I am that it’s almost over?  The notification alert on my phone has been going off non-stop each time a new “like” on the facebook page or comment comes in, and I am still just as excited as I was on Day 1 when the giveaways started.  Someone asked me in the comments what I’m grateful for – and honestly, it’s all of you.  I know that sounds cheesy.  But when it’s also true, cheesiness can be pretty cool… despite what my husband says.  And in the vein of honest-to-goodness cool, today’s giveaway is hosted by Le Box Boutique!

My journey to Le Box Boutique all started with my frustration with ribbon.  I was looking for a way to seal my custom items and etsy orders before shipping them off to be loved by new homes and I had my heart set on some beautiful adhesive ribbon.  But the way it looked in my mind isn’t all all how it looked when I actually tried it.  In real life, it was….crappy.  The ribbon rebelled and tore the tissue paper and kraft paper boxes I was using.  When it peeled off, it left a dirty sticker scum behind.  It had me cussing.  Not the pretend curse words you make up to safely use around your kids, like “cheese n’ rice”, but serious sailor swearing.  So I turned to a glass of cheap wine and my etsy searching skills and found a TON of packaging and supplies.  I could order a gazillion different things from 34.5 different vendors – which I’ve done and been sour faced over it.  And then into my third glass of Arbor Mist (we’re high rollers around here), I found Le Box – an organized little packaging mecca.  Kraft paper, wraps, glassine bags, cotton filled boxes, and of course washi tape.  Cue choirs of angels.  Now, almost all my packaging is exclusively from Le Box Boutique.  I always find exactly what I need and Lacey, the owner, is one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet.  Plus, when she ships out orders, she cuts up those big packaging envelopes and tapes them together to make smaller ones.  Her earth friendly products and shipping make me like her that much more.

(This set of cards will be available in my etsy shop later today!)

So many of you commented that you’re looking for ways to snazz up your packaging, so I’m super pumped about this giveaway.  Lacey and Le Box have given us not one, but FOUR prizes to bestow on some lucky people!  When we pull the names out of the hat (rafflecopter style), 2 winners will be sent a set of 10 rolls of LBB’s trademarked “Washi Tape by the Foot”!  If you haven’t fallen victim to the washi tape trend yet, you will.  Especially when you see all the patterns available in their shop.  You’re welcome.

And there’s more.  TWO MORE winners will also be chosen to receive a set of 2 mini Beer Soap favors!  This soap is handmade in The Ozarks and comes with a little wooden soap dish – perfect for a macho, macho man perhaps?  I just started testing the waters of soap making and while it may not get you cleaner than store bought, I definitely think there is an attention to detail, a love, and a patience in handmade that you just cannot reproduce.  And that goes for ANYTHING created by someone’s passion.  ♥
