Anniversary Celebration – Day 1

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!

ONE YEAR.  How fast it passes and how long it seems in reflection.  It was just one year ago that I took my handmade obsession to the internet and starting blogging, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made!  Because so many of you have made this last year such a great experience, I decided to get in touch with some of my favorite people to giveaway some of my favorite things each day this week – and this my friends, is DAY ONE.  Yesssss.  Today we’re kicking it off with my friend Angelica Suarez and her awesome stamp line, Market Street Stamps!

Angelica and I first “met” when I joined The Twinery’s 2012Design Team, where she is a Senior (and ridiculously talented) Designer.  (Seriously – she rocks.  Check out her blog, Typical Aquarian, for proof.)  PLUS, she makes her home in Packerland, USA (aka Wisconsin) – where I also live, AND she’s a California native – where I spent most of my childhood.  And she’s crafty.  And super nice.  And in case that isn’t enough, she also illustrates fantastic stamps for her company, Market Street Stamps.

Now I should start by saying that I am not a big stamper.  Stamps scare me.  I never seem to be able to get that impression just right – they always come out blurry or smeared, or totally uneven.  So I rarely even try to stamp.  Enter MSS.  I’m sort of wondering if Angelica hasn’t stumbled on some insanely genius way to idiot proof her stamps, because no matter how I used it – the impression came out perfectly every time.  I have the Vintage Notebook background stamp and I cannot wait to collect more!

Angelica has graciously offered to give one her awesome background stamps to a lucky follower of This Heartmade Life, and I chose another one of my personal favorites – the Woodgrain background.

Check out what Tracy Schultz, a former MSS Designer, did with Woodgrain AND Vintage Notebook!

As part of today’s giveaway, not only will the winner receive MSS goodness; you’ll also be showered with a set of 3 greeting cards from This Heartmade Life!  These cards are made using the Vintage Notebook Stamp and feature the lyrics to one of my favorite songs to sing to my kiddos.  :)  Anyone know it?

All week long, we’ll be using rafflecopter to gather giveaway entries and randomly choose our winners.  Each day, we’ll be giving away a new prize from another of my favorite companies and to be eligible to win prizes from each day, you’ll need to come back and visit all week long.  In other words, if you want to win Wednesday’s prize, you’ll need to come visit me again, find Wednesday’s post, and enter the giveaway using the rafflecopter widgit on that post.  All giveaway’s will remain open until Sunday, August 5th at 11:59pm and winners will be announced on this blog the following week.

Here’s today’s Giveaway!  (Wait a couple seconds for the widget to appear.)
